On Apr 27, 2022 I rented a automobile through Priceline for Ace Rental Motorcar in Denver. When I arrived to told them of my reservation. The homo at the counter stated that I needed to provide a deposit in add-on to the payment through Priceline. He told me that he needed a $479 deposit for coverage of the rental. Needing the rental I applied the eolith to my reservation, when he told me I would get information technology back. I returned the car on time on April 3 and was told the deposit would be refunded.
Today 4/6 I chosen six different numbers to finally go with the Denver office who told me it was NOT a Eolith but was for insurance coverage of the vehicle. So I paid for the car rental through Priceline and auto coverage through Priceline and now ACE told me the additional deposit was for auto coverage. I guess the good old allurement and switch is still very good for BAD COMPANIES!!!! I should accept known the price through Priceline was not the real price, as ACE needed $654 for a $175 rental.
To be short to the point, the counter man lied to get boosted money for ACE. He probably got a committee on the boosted "auto coverage" that I did non demand. They would non hire me the car without this credit bill of fare deposit. I warn everyone to lookout out for Ace Rental Cars as their cost may seem good only to screw the customer!!!! Thanks Ace for screwing me!!!!

Rented a van 01/2022 at MIA. I declined their insurance coverage. They use an electronic signature pad. Representative said declined as I was signing. Turns out she lied. So at that place was an boosted $200 on the paperwork. Representative said it would exist refunded when the van was returned. That did not happen. No answer when I attempted to phone call. Shame on me for non reading the paperwork more thoroughly. Shame on them for their dishonesty.

This place is a complete scam. They advertise great prices for 4 wheels drive (Toyota rav4). But when you pick up a vehicle they say it's 2 wheels drive. Then they upgrade a motorcar and cost jump from $40 to $120 a solar day. We ended up with an old jeep (60k miles) for 120$ Plus tax a day. This motorcar was in bad tech condition (Brakes and steer weren't functional). Trip from Vail to Denver took u.s.a. 6 HOURS, a few times we almost got in deadly blow.Totally scam!!!! Information technology happened non only to us, but to everybody who was in front end of us on line at reservation desk. Never again!!! Become with decent automobile rental company, for meliorate price y'all volition rent new car without scamming.

I rented a car for six days and paid through Priceline who paid Ace. The lines were long and unorganized. After xxx minutes I finally got the car. The following day I had an incident with the machine and was directed to return the auto to Ace. They kept my money and wouldn't switch me into another machine! I lost out on $300 and had to pay an additional $600 to another rental car company. Essentially, Ace left me stranded and carless in LA! Beware of Ace! I will never use Ace again!!

Priceline should kick this company to the curb. Prepaid for a motorcar rental at Ace to be picked up at TPA. "Sorry we don't accept any cars, and nosotros don't think we're getting whatever". Now nosotros are at the mercy of the rest of the rental agencies at the aerodrome that odor claret and know you're in dire straits.

Only giving 1 star because I'm required earlier posting a review. HORRIBLE! And LIARS! Rented a car at the Las Vegas location. Desk-bound amanuensis said that our state (Tennessee) recently passed a police requiring that we purchase insurance. I wasn't aware of whatsoever such new police force so nosotros purchased for this reason and this reason only. Their Las Vegas part is located off site from the McCarran Rent-A-car Center and we had no other transportation dorsum to the McCarran Rent-A-car Center to use another company.
Once we arrived home, I check with my local lawmakers. NO SUCH LAW Exist! Too, I confirmed with my automobile insurance (Farm Agency) that we are covered with rental cars. Company refuses to refund my money spent purchasing insurance considering their agent is a LIAR. Disputed with my bank. I rented the car through rentcars.com and have filed a complaint with them against ACE. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Filed a complaint with their corporate office. Filed a complaint with the Federal Merchandise Commission. ACE keeps responding to my reviews challenge someone will contact me. And I'k finding they proceed to lie. No one reaching out, as they claim.

After booking months in advance, and receiving a confirmation email, when I arrived at the San Diego aerodrome, everyone who had been waiting in line for 30 minutes were told that they had sold out of cars! And then, what do you practice when you are at the aerodrome and you need a motorcar? Hire one from another agency for iii times the toll. This identify needs to be closed. How cartel they? I had a contract with them. The understanding isn't just on my part that I pay the coin. They accept as well agreed to provide a car. I'm contacting the Ameliorate Business Agency. Unhappy customer.

Although information technology looks cheap, we paid more double the price with the experience. After waiting for over an hour at the airport, we were finally picked up at a coach. We thought that would be it, only no. After that, we took a sketchy van to the Ace Rent a Car lot. The whole time we were shoved in together. Finally, when my family unit and I arrived at the Ace Rent a Car lot, we were surprised to meet that there were no actual people in the building besides the 'customers'. All of the people who were supposedly working were on a Zoom call. It was a mess. To add to my suspicions, the unabridged store was lined with a poorly executed one-way-mirror illusion. After waiting for more hours, my family unit canceled our payment and ran downwardly the road to become a new rental car.

My feel was horrendous. My family and I waited at LAX for about an hour only to be served extremely poorly. We had to take a transit to a sketchy lot, and then accept a tram to another isolated site. We were packed in similar sardines, so close we were touching each other. Later on nosotros arrived at the site after about 2 hours, we were greeted by numerous computers. The merely employees were computerized workers on Zoom! Go along in heed, this is all prior to actually receiving our machine. I would as well like to mention that we were not in the worst of it. Along my family's journey, we met another individual who allegedly waited for HOURS earlier taking the first shuttle. Employees were unfriendly and unhelpful. Ace Rental cars may be the worst place in the State of California. Truly terrible and wretched all effectually.

Employee Friendliness: 15/25
Efficiency: ten/25

This my first and the final time using ACE/Mex rental car company to rent a auto for whatsoever reason! I booked an economical automobile through Priceline in November of 2021. When nosotros arrived at San Diego airdrome around 7pm local time, we constitute out that ACE rental function was closed. When we were strained at SAN airport, multiple drivers from SAN aerodrome shuttle service stopped and informed u.s. that ACE role was airtight, and nosotros should stop payment to protect ourself. Evidently, this is a well-known fact at SAN Aerodrome. People like u.s.a. who never have experienced with ACE would never know until it is likewise belatedly!
When I chosen ACE (they have a number posted in the SAN drome rental shuttle center), after several tries, a staff answered the call and told me that the office was closed, and I should call Priceline to complain. In order to resolve this issue, I should come to the office the next 24-hour interval. So, I had to become a taxi to the hotel. The side by side day, I called the part to make sure they still have the auto I have booked. After a long wait, they told me yes and my car still there. When I showed up in the office at that place was a long line of customers awaiting to become their cars. There was only ane person tending the desk...
When it finally got to my turn, the counter person was very courteous and he indicated to me that he was sorry about the incident. Then, he said that my car is no longer available and only options I had was to upgrade or get to other rental machine identify. I asked him about my prepayment to the Priceline. He said either way, I have to pay more! As a result, other than walking abroad, I had to reluctantly agree to pay for the upgrade which doubled the price I had paid to Priceline. When I called Priceline (multiple times), it automatically road my call to Hertz rental. Hertz rental customer service staff inform me that they accept no tape of my rental... another dead finish. When I finally establish a way to locate a warm body at Priceline customer services, they were able to refund me the Priceline portion of my payment. What a nightmare!!! I want to share this horror story with the public so that this blazon of nightmare will never happen to anyone else!
